Logan Zierden is a rising systems engineering professional who brings a powerful blend of technical rigor, hands-on program experience, and forward-leaning innovation to APEX TK. With a background in mechanical engineering and systems engineering, Logan offers a strong foundation in both the theory and practice of complex system design and integration. His work spans critical defense missions, including direct support to the Missile Defense Agency’s Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program and PEO Missiles and Space’s Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) portfolio.
Logan has also worked with the Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) community, where he supported enterprise-level problem-solving efforts at the intersection of government, industry, and academia. His capabilities include systems engineering across the full acquisition lifecycle-requirements development, verification and validation (V&V), system integration, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE). He also brings proficiency in agile software development, process improvement, and program management, making him a versatile contributor to modern acquisition and technology programs.
